Our so-called Talents
Question: What are you and your partner’s so called talents?
I sing but I don’t have a good singing voice. I actually don’t have any talent. But if there is, I would have to say it would be counselling because it seems that people come to me for advice, opinions, or someone to listen.
While I’m no professional photographer, I absolutely love to take pictures, and I think I’m getting better. I’m kinda rediscovering my passion (or talent? ahah) in photography eversince I got pregnant. I carry my camera with me everywhere. I stopped being “always” the subject and I am generally one of the picture takers at most any event I go.
I’m good with making our home more attractive. I love rearranging our furnitures and if it doesn’t annoys my hubby, I would probably do it every week but because i love him (and hate to see his annoying reactions) i only rearrange every month or so.

On the other hand, Honeyb has a lot of talents. He’s great when it comes to tools. He’s a handyman. My oldies here would go to him first for home repairs, etc before hiring someone.
He’s good in reforming a house. He’s an Interior Contractor, specializing in wallpapers. He’s a PRO in wallpaper hanging which I thought was easy but it’s actually NOT.
He’s a good conversationalist. He can talk about almost everything and anything, leaving acquaintances a good impression.
He’s good with numbers while I always depend on calculator. He has an incredible sense of direction while I confuse north and south.

36 months…
A morning surprise from honeyb on our 36th month of a happy married life, 6/11/2010

Roses can be a perfect way to express how much you truly love someone. And that SUnflower-like means peace according to him.
May we have a peaceful and more blissful life this year and the coming years…
I can still remember the first time he sends me a bouquet of roses. I really felt in love and felt like I’m a princess. For me, nothing can be more romantic than receiving a lovely flowers, whether it is a bouquet of red roses, pink roses, or any kind.

Boracay 2005
To make the long story of our first ever Out of Town TRIP together in the Philippines, I’m gonna make it as simple as possible. I guess some of you have already read about our lovestory (also read here)..
July 2005, I came back home to Philippines with no expectations from him. We were only dating then (6 months)… After 3 weeks, he followed me. It was his first time so I gotta make amazing plans to make a good impression about our beloved country and of course, I want to make his First TRIP memorable ( which I really perfectly did ). I showed him around, introduced the best and worst of PI which he was instantly fallen inlove. Of course, he met my huge number of family — in short, HE HAD THE BEST VACATION ever..
I took him first to Boracay. Well, we bothe a first time visitor on the Island.
I’m sharing our memorable Boracay photos which give me a nice feeling of Nostalgia everytime I look at them. I wish I took more photos of nice views –not only ourselves lol (di pa ko ganun ka-passionate sa photography during that time…). This is my first entry for Ate Rose’s weekly meme, Nostalgia
It was a lil bit cloudy on the first day =(
The Hotel we stayed, Boracay Regency Station 2

At the Bar.. One thing I admire him most is his being so friendly to anyone, especially to the staffs.
During our Island Hopping, with Manang, our super nice tour guide..

On our way home from the Paradise…
Why don’t you also dig your photo archives and share them and be nostalgic about them with us every Thursday Isn’t it so nice to talk and share about our good memories to the whole wide web?
ANother thing to look forward every Thursday…
