Sweet Heart

Valentine’s day here in Japan is thought to be a day of opportunity to express your feelings, gratitude, appreciation to your man, male friends and colleagues by giving them presents, mainly chocolates :)

SO I bought these cute chocolates and Cake kits for my Honeyb, brother, Ojisan (grandfather), Otosan (father in law), Shacho San, and Hirano San (Ojisan’s driver).

Chocolates and Cake Kits for Valentine's day 2011

Aside from the big present I gave to Honeyb, I made a special heart cake for him :)

Cafe De Crie

I think I’m loving Cafe de Crie located my favorite shopping mecca, Tachikawa City where my little girl Azumi is having her pre-school class every tuesday. We’ve been here thrice since it was recently opened last month. It’s one of the trendy cafes here in Tokyo/Japan. I love their original blend coffee beverages, toasted sandwiches, Danish sandwiches, pastas and desserts.

Here’s what I ordered for 3 consecutive tuesdays lol

Mocha Blended Sorbege, Fuwa Fuwa Tamago Sandwich (danish soft egg), Meat Pasta, and Chocolate Cream Cake

If there is anything that isn’t Starbucks that is better than Starbucks will be Cafe de Crie

Yummier than this here…

Seafood Course

Just got back from our 2-day out of town get-away (we went to Chiba Ken). We had a great time, especially yours truly. The Hot Spring hotel we stayed served the greatest fresh Seafood Course I’ve ever had. I should’ve asked for a white wine instead red…

It was another great food experience for me…

HAPPY Food Trip Friday!
