Inexpensive Hobbies

Oh my gosh it’s been quite awhile since the last time I shared some facts about me and my Honeyb as a couple. Talking about hobbies, may it be expensive or inexpensive –well so to start, we don’t quite share same hobbies which I think is good because we’re always together, it’s important to be able to do your own thing and have time to yourself as well.

BUT THEN we do enjoy similar interests like going out, driving, watching movies, eating, talking, surf the internet and hanging out with our little girl.

I can’t think of anything inexpensive hobby of my hubby other than driving or reading newspapers lol. His “me time” is playing golf which I thought the most boring sport to watch or play. I used to hang out with him and even tried learning the golf swing but golf clubs seem to have no interest in me lol. There are times that he goes out to practice when I am too busy watching DVDs. It can be inexpensive if he does practice his swings at home while watching news or sports such as baseball, soccer and boxing.

My Mom ♥

I have to say that we have a great mom.. great mom in her own ways. It’s not realistic to think you’ll always get along with your moms, but even through those times, we still love them. No matter how much she frustrated me when I was young, she’s still my mom and I love her in great deal. She made some sorts of sacrifices in order to give us a more comfortable lifestyle and sent us to a good school.

My parents separated when I was 12 years old, my sister was 6. Mom took effort of catching up and spend time with us atleast 2-3 months a year. Showered us with material things that we needed (and wanted) well that’s because she was away — it’s different now that we’re together (and closer) lol

Eversince I became a mom, I appreciate her more inspite of my frustrations. I have been in her womb for 9 months, she cared for me and carried me all along.

Anyway, I don’t want drama. I love my mom more than anything on this world. She’s cool and awesome. She’s been always there for us. SHe wasn’t there when we were growing up but she’s making up for the lost times until now. That’s also the reason why Japan has become our second home.

when we watch movies together…

We used to go out on a movie date almost every FRIDAY, last full show, with popcorns, nachos and beverages. We’ve been to different movie theaters, and I think my favorite is We never dared to watch during weekends because of the crowd. He was my MOvie Buddy. We like the same genre – adrenaline pumping, spy, comedy except “girly” movies which I love to watch so much lol. But still he would accompany me even if he doesn’t like the film. I think the last girly film we watched together was Sex and The City.

We also love renting dvds. We were once became hooked with 24 and Prisonbreak. We would watch 5 dvds the whole night, with loads of snacks reachable by our hands lol.. I miss those stressful nights when I couldn’t wait to watch the next episodes.

Now that we’re fairly busy persons, we rarely rent movies to watch together. I’m currently addicted to Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, and The Hills (watching alone with my snacks huhu)

I miss going out on a movie date with him =( The last time we watched together was when I was a week before I gave birth (Oct 2008).
