Delighted to Change

Well we’re officially into January and well — into 2010 .

I think I’ve had some time to really be contemplative about where I’m at right now, where I was in 2009, and how life is going to change in the coming year. I mean, whoa– my lil Anzu is really growing up and she’s getting uncontrollable these days lol. Well, last year was the year of getting used to my new status which is being a Mum. We had dealt with a lot more changes than the last last year.

Indeed, we face great changes every year…

Looking back I’d say that last year was a pretty amazing year, even with all the highs and lows. And I think, looking forward, instead of making resolutions about the things I would want to change about my life, I want to focus on what about my life delights me.

hmmm ??? Give me few days to think about it

What does DELIGHT means by the way?

I came across this article, Architecture of Delight and it somehow inspired me..

Delight is a “now” word. Delight is about living in the moment – but without having to prod yourself to “be present.” Delight shifts your energy so that you become “attractive” and happy. When you are attractive and happy, then effortlessness has a way of delivering your success to you, rather than you having to “work hard” for it all the time. Also, when you are happy and when you allow delight in your life, then “working hard” isn’t so hard. In fact, it’s more fun.

Delight is that moment. Delight shifts your chemistry. It removes the resistance. It teaches you how to allow effortlessness.

So there, why don’t you also think and write your own “Here’s What I Love” list — 100 things that delight you. I think it would be fun and it’s a one way of having something to look forward that would make you delight. Wait for my list…

  1. 8-O One hundred? Hmm…is that a trick question, :-D . Seriously, whenever I visit your blogs and read your thoughts, you remind me of how neurotic I was with my children

but, at the end of the day, it makes you sit back and appreciate this chance of experiencing other women would die to be in our place.

    have a wonderful week ahead!

  2. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Now, that kind of delight is highly positive since it will mean that the Lord will give us the desires of our hearts. Yes, there are so many things where we can find delights but the highest of them all is delighting in the Lord. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.  :peace! :o o like:   :eh?! :chu :chu :-| :-o :-P :-D :-? :) 8-O
